Topology: Bicycles of London
Whilst taking a photography course at Central Saint Martins we were looking at different ways photography can be presented. For the topology format, I have chosen the subject of bicycles left parked around the City of London, and then later expanded to bicycles all over UK. Topology is defined as a collection based on a shared attribute, with the collection itself becoming more important than the individual components. By looking at the collection in a grid format, patterns, both visual and intellectual, reveal themselves within collections.
