Planning a trip to London?
Add a professional photo shoot to your itinerary. Not a quick selfie in front of Big Ben. A proper session with a local photographer who knows where to go, when to be there, and how to make the whole thing feel completely natural.
I'm Kate, a London vacation photographer and tourist photographer specialising in shoots for visitors from the US, Europe and beyond. I've photographed solo travellers, couples celebrating anniversaries, families on their first trip to Europe, and everyone in between. My approach is relaxed and candid. No stiff poses, no awkward direction. Just you, London, and photos that actually look like you had the best time. Because you did.
Your edited photos will be ready within 72 hours. Most of my clients get their gallery before they even land back home.
Why book a vacation photographer in London
London is one of the most photogenic cities in the world. But getting a great photo here is harder than it looks. The crowds at the obvious spots. The light that changes every twenty minutes. Knowing which streets are worth the detour and which ones everyone else is already shooting.
That's what a local photographer gives you. I know where the light is golden at 9am. I know the quiet corners of Notting Hill that most visitors never find. I know that the best angle on Tower Bridge is not from the bridge itself. I've been shooting across this city for nearly a decade and I know exactly how to make London look its best for you.
A vacation photo shoot in London is one of the best things you can add to your trip. The photos become the thing you come home with that actually lasts. Not a blurry selfie. Not a rushed snapshot. A real, beautiful record of your time here.
HOW IT WORKS
Simple to book.
Unforgettable to keep.
Choose your package, pick a date, and tell me a little about yourself — what you're hoping to capture, which parts of London you love. I'll suggest the best locations and timing for your shoot, we'll meet up, and you'll have your photos within 72 hours.
I've photographed visitors from across the US and beyond. Those visiting London for the first time, couples celebrating anniversaries or revisiting places that mean something to them, solo travellers who want more than a selfie. I know where the crowds are thin, where the light is golden, and how to make even camera-shy people feel completely at ease. And the best part? Your photos will be ready to share before you even get home.

WHERE WE SHOOT
London’s most photogenic spots
I know every angle, every golden hour, every crowd-free window across London. Here are some favourite locations — though we can shoot anywhere that speaks to you.
What makes a great London vacation photo shoot
A few things I always tell my clients before we meet.
Timing matters more than location. The same street looks completely different at 8am versus 2pm. Morning shoots almost always produce better images. Softer light, fewer crowds, and the city feels like it belongs to just the two of you. If you can do a morning session, do it.
Wear what you actually like. The photos that work best are the ones where you look like yourself. Classic colours and simple outfits photograph well against London's architecture. Avoid anything too busy or logo-heavy. Bring a light layer — even in summer, London mornings have a bite to them.
Give me an hour minimum. The Quick Visit package is one hour and it is genuinely enough to get beautiful images. But if you want variety — different streets, different vibes, a mix of iconic and hidden — the London Experience at 1.5 hours is the one most of my visitors choose.
Trust the process. Almost every client who tells me they hate having their photo taken ends their session saying the opposite. My approach is candid. I am not posing you. I am walking around London with you and capturing the moments in between. The best shots happen when you have forgotten I am there.

VISITOR FAQ

I'll plan it. Tell me what you love about London, what your visit is for, and roughly where you're staying. I'll suggest a route that captures variety and works with the light at your shoot time. You can always request specific spots too.
-
London weather is part of the London experience. Some of my best work has been shot in overcast or light rain, which gives the city a very particular atmosphere. That said, if it's genuinely stormy, we can reschedule up to 24hr before the shoot at no extra cost.
-
Almost everyone who says this leaves their shoot saying the opposite. My approach is entirely candid. I'm not asking you to pose. I'm walking around London with you and capturing the in-between moments. Most of the best shots happen when you've forgotten I'm there.

At least two weeks in advance is ideal, especially in summer. If you're travelling from abroad, booking before you fly means your shoot is locked in and one less thing to think about when you arrive. That said, I keep some slots open for short-notice bookings. Drop me a message if you're in London this week.

I meet clients at the first location we're shooting. Once you book, we’ll agree on a location that works for you and I'll send you the exact meeting point with directions. It's always somewhere easy to find, usually either close to the nearest tube station or in a cafe.

All sessions are priced in pounds.
